WELCOME TO VILLA BIEGGA

Villa Biegga is a high-quality holiday resort situated in a beautiful fell landscape. The resort provides excellent amenities for year-round holiday residency.

The resort building has been designed to offer the best views for enjoying the outdoor sceneries. Biegga has two bedrooms for two persons each, a dressing room that can also be used as a third bedroom and a spacious indoor balcony. The dining table in the living room can be used to service eight people. The sitting area of the living room has plenty of space for enjoying the glow of the fireplace.

In addition to the electric sauna in the main building, there is also a small and cozy wood burning sauna in the yard. The large terrace offers beautiful views of the fell landscape. Biegga has a large selection of equipment for recreational use for the guests.

Villa Biegga has a free WLAN connection and a Smart TV. The resort also has an air source heat pump, which can be used for cooling the building during the summer if necessary. Various recreational equipment can also be found from the storage. A shared boat with Villa Gaissa is available for use at Lake Vuontisjärvi. There is also a shared dock and a lean-to shelter, which can be found from the shore of the adjacent Lake Hommajärvi.

Experience the authentic and stunning Pallastunturi

The Pallastunturi fells, selected as one of Finland’s national landscapes, offer a picturesque setting for skiing. The slopes of the fell are not mechanically altered or snow-cannoned, so they provide an authentic and diverse skiing experience for both beginners and more experienced skiers. The enchanting and tranquil atmosphere of Pallas can only be experienced on the spot.

LOCATION AND DISTANCES

Villa Biegga is located in Fell Lapland at the heart of the incredible Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park in Enontekiö. The resort is 250 kilometers northwest from Rovaniemi in Yli-Kyrö, near Raattama. The cabin is 70 meters from the adjacent Lake Hommajärvi and 500 meters from Lake Vuontisjärvi, which is great for fishing. There is a shared dock and a lean-to shelter with Villa Gaissa on the shore of Lake Hommajärvi.

“This house is possibly one of the best you will find in Finland – the picture through the windows of the living room tells you why. The scenery is awesome and the location is something visitors from around Europe and the rest of the world would enjoy – pristine and beautiful.

The house is extremely well equipped with everything you could need, comfortable beds, car accommodation, two saunas and did I mention the view! It is in a very quiet location and extremely peaceful but there is a small (rather shabby) shop about 6 kilometres away. We were there in the summertime but I would think it would be a very good location for a winter holiday.”

“An excellent cabin with stylish décor, excellent amenities and high-quality building services, a better selection of kitchen items than most have in their homes, and an exquisite location.

Nature is right outside the doorstep. The house was clean and everything was designed for the guest: even firewood and tinders were placed in the fireplace to make things easier. The recreational equipment was wonderful: mountain bikes, skis, ski boots, boots, a kicksled, a baby carriage, snowshoes… We already want to come back! ☺”

“The landscape from the house’s living room and terrace was utterly mesmerizing. The equipment in the house was high-quality and clean. The bed linens were first-rate and plentiful. During our stay the area was very peaceful, but apparently several building lots were for sale in the area.

The managers of the property were quickly reachable (we made some mistakes with the alarm system and needed help). Because of the time of year of our stay, we did not need the lakeshore amenities (the beach, the dock and the boat). They did look very good though.”
